It's Presdients Day... not exactly sure what that means... but what better day than to run down what I think are the BEST movie Presidents of all time... Let's be honest... any one of these dudes could probably do better job than what we've had the past 12 years... Maybe I will write one of them in when I vote in the next election...
These are my favorites...
President James Marshall AKA Harrison Ford - Air Force One
James Marshall is a president with a military background, one that's apparently given him knowledge of the ins and outs of a jet airliner... He also kicks some major terrorist a$$ at 35,000 feet... and uses witty phrases like "Get Off My Plane!" as he throws said terrorist off the plane... A funny President that's a bad a$$... what's more American??
President Bill Mitchell AKA Dave Kovic AKA Kevin Kline - Dave
Dave Kovic, Presidential Look-a-Like, became President when the real President Bill Mitchell had a stroke while hooking up with his secretary... Proving that anyone could be President... and could actually do a better job than any shifty politician... He actually balanced the budget by having an accountant friend come to the White House for sandwiches and not spending more than the government makes... What an idea!!!???
Thomas J. Whitmore AKA Bill Pullman - Independence Day
Aliens come to rob the Earth of all of it's resources and then move on to the next planet... and oh by the way... they plan on killing all of humanity while they're at it... What they didn't plan on was the U.S. having a war hero for a President... one that "Will Not Go Silently Into The Night!!!"
And my personal favorite...
President Beck AKA Morgan Freeman
Morgan Freeman handled a giant asteroid coming right for the Earth like a BOSS... He was forced to break the news to the country after a nosy... but pretty attractive... news reporter accidently broke the story... And he laid the smack down on her...
He had an awesome plan to try to stop the asteroid... and an awesome plan to preserve humanity when it did hit... And he gave a speech that rivals President Whitmore's from Independence Day... Plus he was Obama before Obama was Obama!
