We can't figure out why this would even be news, but the paparazzi thought it was noteworthy to snap pics of Hillary Duff holding a cigarette.

Tabloids used the angle of "is she smoking so soon after giving birth to a baby boy?".

She had her baby three months ago. And the other night, she was caught holding a cigarette.

So has Hilary taken up smoking? She says no. Yesterday, she Tweeted,

"Yikes me holding a cigarette for my friend might have been a bad idea! Pretty bummed about the photo. Sorry guys, looks worst than it is!"
